Beacon Coffee Shop Now Open
We are delighted that the Beacon is now once more open for business after being extended and refurbished over the past few months. At its re-opening on 15 November, patrons old and new were very complimentary about the new facilities.
Opening Hours:
Tuesdays: 10:30 - 14:00 for Coffee, Tea, Snacks, Light Lunches
Fridays: 10:30 - 14:00 for Coffee, Tea, Snacks, Light Lunches
Saturdays: 10:30 - 12:00 for Coffee, Tea, Snacks
Since it was originally developed from an old house over ten years ago, the Beacon, standing adjacent to the church on Telegraph Road, has become an important part of the church's outreach and a popular meeting point for many. In addition to serving as a Coffee Shop it deals in Fair Trade goods and is used by the church for informal meetings. We hope that the extended space will enable us to further this mission and provide even more opportunities for outreach into the community.
