Heswall is situated on the west (Dee estuary) side of the Wirral Peninsula, on the crest of a sandstone escarpment that includes the highest point on the peninsula. It is easily approached from Liverpool via either of the Mersey Tunnels and M53/A552/A551, from North Wales via the A494/A550/A540, from Chester via the A540, or from Cheshire via the M53 and A5137.

Several bus services run through the centre and Heswall railway station is a short taxi-ride outside the village.

The Methodist Church stands near the centre, in a prominent position on the west side of Telegraph Road, just at the top of a little rise in the road and opposite the old Police Station.

Vehicular access is from Rocky Lane South to our small drive-through car park with no turning space and a one-way system in operation. Please approach this way and park neatly to avoid obstructing others.

If you use sat-nav or on-line route planners be sure to enter our full postcode (CH60 0AE), (maybe without the church name or address), then the system should take you directly to the Rocky Lane South entrance.

For larger events, or when our car park is full, we recommend parking off-site. The nearest sizeable off-road public parking is at the Mount Avenue car parks (pay-and-display), about 3 minutes walk from the church.
